Detailed Description:
Located in the corridor between Buellton and Lompoc in Santa Barbara County wine country, the Wellspring Ranch offers an estimated 450+ acres of plantable vineyard ground and is the crown jewel of the Sta. Rita Hilla Wine Appellation Zone, known for its prized Pinot Noir grapes production, made famous in the hilarous movie, SIDWEAYS released in 2006.
Sta. Rita Hills AVA (named after the beautiful Santa Rita Hills that roll through the region) is a part of the larger Santa Ynez Valley Wine appellation. it is one of California's premier cool-climate viticultural regions with moderate summers cooled by coastal breezes and warmer winters that are typically frost free.
